Schedule
 
There will be four separate
engineering design competitions at the USNA this year: paper
airplane, bridge, electric boat and mousetrap car. Schedules are
given below for your convenience in planning your activities. Please
be sure to be prompt and follow all of the competition rules as well
as the instructions provided by the judges and midshipmen
assistants. All judges' decisions are final.
NOTE: The four competitions
have various starting and ending times, with many portions running
simultaneously. There will be ample opportunity for each team to
participate in each event. Be sure to perform your bridge weigh-in
and testing as soon as your schedule allows.
Be sure to visit the static displays
and demonstration tables located on the Lab Deck, representing a
variety of engineering disciplines. Refreshments will be available
outside of Rickover 102 throughout the competitions. The guest
speaker at the Awards Ceremony will be the Director of the USNA
Division of Engineering and Weapons, CAPT Rau (USN).
