The Naval Academy celebrated the U.S. Navy s 238th birthday during a cake cutting ceremony held in King Hall. The ceremony has deep roots in naval tradition where the first slice of cake is made by the oldest and youngest members within the command. Midshipman 1st Class Timothy Perkowski and Midshipman 4th Class Joshua Escobar had the honor to cut the cake.
