Steps for setting up a connection to your web account on Webster using WinSPC

1. Open WinSPC

2. Enter the following in the appropriate boxes:
   For Host name:  www.usna.edu
   For Port Number : 22
   For User Name: your web account login
   For Password: your web account password
    

3. Click on "Save"
    

4. A popup window will appear.
   Enter the name that
   you want to call this connection
   configuration that you'll be using to
   connect to your web

5. Click "OK"
    

6. The session that you just saved
   will be highlighted and you can
   click on Login to access your web account.
   

7. For the first time that you access your web account with WinSPC you'll be prompted to "Continue connecting and add host key to the cache?".
   Click on Yes.
    

8. The interface will appear. On the left are the files/folders on your system. On the right are the files/folders in your web account on Webster.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
    

9. Once you find the folder on your system ( left side) you can drag and drop files to the web (right side).

10. You can create a directory/folder on either side by click in the bottom center on "Create Directory"

11. Click on Quit ( bottom right) to close the session and exit the program.
