TABLES

You can get to the TABLE screen directly from the keyboard.

The TABLE screen displays the same information in numerical form that the GRAPH screen displays in graphical form.
That means that it depends on which graph mode you're in. In FUNCTION mode, you see something like this:

The first column gives x-values. Which x-values it shows is determined by the TblSet screen, available either from the Setup menu (F2) or from the keyboard (adjacent to the TABLE key.)

The remaining columns give y-values for all the functions checked on the Y= screen.

(In PARAMETRIC mode, the first column is t, the next two give the corresponding x- and y-values for the first function checked, etc.)
(In POLAR mode, the first column is theta and the remaining columns give the corresponding r-values for the checked functions.)
(In SEQUENCE mode, the first column is n (restricted to whole numbers) and the remaining columns give the nth terms in the checked sequences.)
(In 3D mode, the TABLE screen is unavailable.)
(In DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS mode, the first column is the independent variable, t, and the remaining columns give the solutions to the first-order differential equations checked on the Y= screen.)

You can scroll up and down beyond the limits of the original screen. Pushing the 2nd key first moves several rows at a time. Pushing the green diamond key first has no effect, since the table doesn't have a top or a bottom.

The TABLE SETUP screen (shown here with its default settings in FUNCTION mode) determines which x-values are displayed in the first column of the TABLE screen.
tblStart gives the top x-value.
Dtbl gives the difference between successive x-values.
Graph <-> Table ON overrides these settings, replacing them with information taken from the WINDOW screen (and the graph window width if you have a split screen).
Independent ASK (the alternative to AUTO) allows you to enter your own x-values in the first column.
