When the Brigade of Midshipmen reforms this year the first goal of next years team captain will be to recruit the next set of team members. The Autonomous Underwater Vehicle is such a complex system that one semester worth of work does not allow enough time to learn the old system and make significant improvements to it. The 2013 team members will begin meeting fall semester to learn about the operation of the 2012 AUV. This will set them up for the work they will to as their capstone project. The goals for next year's vehicle will be set during the end of first semester so that the team is ready to work starting when they return from winter leave.
