Plebe Programs

Purpose

The Plebe Programs provide academic advice and basic study skills instruction to plebes in order to help them adjust to the academic demands of the Naval Academy. The plebe intervention program identifies plebes who have a high potential for encountering academic difficulties at the Naval Academy and has developed means for reducing or eliminating those difficulties. The Plebe Advising Program provides academic advice and study skills to the plebes to help them adjust to the academic demands of the Naval Academy.

Availability Description
  Plebe Intervention Program Plebes who have been identified as having a high likelihood of encountering academic difficulty. Provides weekly academic effectiveness classes, group study sessions, and individual counseling from their Academic Center adviser.
  Plebe Advising Program All plebes Provides academic advice and basic study skills instruction to all plebes in order to help them adjust to the academic demands of the Naval Academy.
