The Academic Center is sub-divided into several different programs. Upon request, an Academic Center staff member can conduct a brief which provides an overview of Academic Center programs. Briefs are available to midshipmen groups, faculty and staff. The brief is generally set up to take 50-minutes. E-mail the Director of the Academic Center to request a brief.

Plebe Programs

The Plebe Programs provide academic advice and basic study skills instruction to plebes in order to help them adjust to the academic demands of the Naval Academy.

Academic Counseling Program

The Academic Counseling Program provides academic counseling to upper-class academically at-risk midshipmen.

Learning Skills Program

The learning skills program is available to provide assistance to all midshipmen who desire to improve their academic performance by developing or refining their learning skills.

Tutorial Programs

The Tutorial Programs provide a range of assistance for those trying to improve academic performance in a course context.
