Purpose

The Tutorial Programs provide a range of assistance for those midshipmen who are trying to improve their academic performance in a course content.

Services

	Availability	Description
Midshipmen Group Study Program	All Midshipmen	Assist ALL students master course content and to develop personal learning techniques in historically difficult classes. MGSP sessions are designed around a particular instructor's sections.
Evening Tutoring	By appointment with signed tutor chit	Professional tutors are available in the evenings for small group appointments. Midshipmen should first seek EI with the course instructor, and if additional assistance complete the tutor chit.
Exceeds	Students who are identified as those with the high probability of academic difficulty in the content..	Provide routinely scheduled supplemental instruction to students who are identified as those with the high probability of academic difficulty.
Learning Specialists	By appointment	Learning Specialists are available in the mornings for individual appointments with midshipmen. During the appointment, the learning specialist will provide assistance in course content and learning in the discipline.
