Academic Scheduling
The Academic Scheduling Office is located in Nimitz Library room 228. The normal hours of operation are 0800 to 1630 Monday through Friday. During busy times--such as preregistration, registration and exam scheduling--extended hours are in effect as required.

As part of the Naval Academy's Registrar's Office, the Academic Scheduling Office works the Academic Schedules, Fall Exam Schedules, and Spring Exam Schedules for approximately 4000 Midshipmen each semester. Alternate exams are scheduled for those midshipmen with conflicts. We manage the courses that will be offered for the Fall and Spring Semesters and the New Courses. During the course of the year, we work to resolve conflicts of schedules and maintain the academic transactions of each midshipman on Midshipman Record Cards (MIDREC). We also provide academic and scheduling advice to the Department Chairs, Scheduling Officers, Advisors, Athletic Department and Midshipmen in endeavoring to provide each Midshipman and Department with a schedule consistent with the needs of the Midshipmen and within the logistical capabilities of the Department as fairly as possible.
