Jerauld Wright was born in 1898, and graduated from the US Naval Academy in 1918. He was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to China May 3, 1963. He served in that position from June 29, 1963 until July 25, 1965 He died in the District of Columbia in 1995.
