USNA | Steps for Admission

3. Apply

The USNA application is completed and submitted online via the "Candidate Information System".

Click the "Start Your Application" link to submit initial information to USNA.  An official candidate letter will be sent with a Candidate Number, temporary password to log into the Candidate Information System and important instructions on how to proceed with the application process.  The first letters are sent 1 June.

If you have applied for our Summer Seminar program, do not submit your information via this link.  Your candidate letter will be sent on 1 June.

This link is for students who will be graduating from high school in 2012.  Students who graduated high school before 2012 should also use this form.

If you will graduate after 2012, you are too young to apply for this class and should Register with USNA unless you have already done so.
