Steps for Admission

Step 9. Selection and Deadlines:

Take the SAT/ACT early (fall or spring of Junior Year)

• April 1^st: "Start Application" link on website becomes available

• June 1^st: Candidate Information System become available to complete USNA Application

• September: First Admissions Board meets

• December 31^st: Last day to start an application

• January 31^st: Application must be completed; nominations due from nomination sources to USNA

• April 15^th: All candidates notified of their final status

• May 1^st: Official college signing deadline
