Step 9. Selection and Deadlines:

Take the SAT/ACT early (fall or spring of Junior Year)

Junior Year of high school:

April 1^st: "Start Application" link on website becomes available
June 1^st: Candidate Information System become available to complete USNA Application

Senior Year of high school:

September: First Admissions Board meets
January 31^st: Nominations due from Nomination Sources to USNA
February 1^st: Last day to start an application
March 1^st: Application must be completed
April 15^th: All candidates notified of their final status
May 1^st: Official college signing deadline
