Visit USNA

We would like to meet you if you are in the Annapolis area and want to learn more about the admissions process. We are located on the second floor of the Visitor Center on the Naval Academy campus. Interested students, parents, and educators are encouraged to attend one of two daily briefings. These briefings will last approximately 1 hour and will include an informative discussion led by an active duty Navy or Marine Corps admission officer. These officers are admissions experts and can address the questions you have about gaining entrance into the Naval Academy. No appointment is necessary to attend these briefings.

Admissions Briefing Times

Monday - Friday 10 a.m. & 2 p.m.

Saturday 9 a.m. & 11 a.m.

*- These days exclude Federal holidays.

**Note: Admissions briefs are held on the second floor of the Visitor Center, which is right inside Gate 1.**

Candidate Visit Weekend

Candidate Visit Weekend (CVW) is a program conducted aboard USNA during the Fall and Spring academic semesters to expose candidates to all facets of life as a Midshipmen. CVW is an opportunity to sample university-level academics at USNA, to discover whether the Naval Academy will help you achieve your goals, and to offer valuable insight into the admissions process.

CVW is offered by invitation only throughout the academic year. Invitations are largely based on the level of completion of your application.

More information about visiting the United States Naval Academy is available on the general visiting page.
