Program Student Outcomes (PSOs) for Aerospace Engineering

Program Student Outcomes (PSOs) for the Aerospace Engineering major are the 16 Level 2 outcomes of our Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate syllabus (see http://www.cdio.org), which are enumerated in the table below. From a systems engineering perspective, PEOs define requirements that flow down to mold PSOs as performance requirements, which must be functionally mapped (and specifically allocated) to the outcomes of specific courses in the Aerospace Engineering program. These outcomes correlate to the ABET Criterion 3, (a) through (k), outcomes and have been affirmed and validated by multiple visiting ABET assessment teams as being sufficient to meet program criteria.
