Hands-on Project-Based Learning (PBL) Workshop

As a result of this workshop, participants from any STEM discipline will understand the benefits of PBL through engagement in a hands-on PBL exercise and will create an outline for a PBL exercise of their own that integrates teaching, learning and assessment activities. The one day workshop will focus on the characteristics of and rationale for project-based learning, an example project, and a template for developing and evaluating PBL exercises. 

This workshop is offered as part of the North America Aerospace Project funded by NASA and a consortium of aerospace companies within the context of the CDIO Approach to Engineering Education.
