Planning a Course and Creating a Learning-Centered Syllabus

Participants  will learn how to plan a course and the fundamental elements of a learning-centered syllabus that communicates to students what they are expected to learn in a course.  The workshop will focus on the construction of learning objectives based on course learning goals.  By the end of the workshop participants will have created a framework for a learning-centered syllabus for a course they will teach.
