Research Interests

Overall research focuses on the use of chemical surfactants to enhance the solubility and chemical or biological degradability of organic compounds.   Recent efforts have focused on the solubility of nitroaromatic compounds in seawater and surfactant solutions.  Future work will examine the degradation rates of energetic compounds such as TNT.
