(3-2-4). [spring] This course is intended only for students in the Computer Engineering major and introduces them to electronics and electromechanics. Topics covered include amplifiers, comparators, diodes, voltage regulation, bipolar junction transistors, metal oxide field effect transistors (MOSFETs), single- and three-phase power delivery, ideal transformers, DC motors, and AC generators. Problem solving, laboratory exercises, and circuit design are emphasized. |
