Course Description:  In this course, students will evaluate the performance of state-of-the-art systems for identifying an individual through biometric signals (iris scans, facial parameters, fingerprints, voice prints). Individual design projects will be performed that develop and analyze alternative algorithms for identification, or that combine two systems into a multi-sensor identification system. Prereq: EE432 or approval of chair.
