MSC Broadcast Distribution- The MSC's duplication department can manipulate various media formats, including VHS, DVD, Beta Tape, Umatic Tape, Mini Cam Tape, 16mm & 32mm Film, Laser Disc, and more. These media formats can then be copied or made into a compilation and output to DVD and/or VHS.
Broadcast Distribution
Distribution programming via the NADN (Naval Academy Data Network) is available to anyone with a functioning NADN outlet. Satellite and cable channel rebroadcasts are distributed at the direction of faculty and staff. MSC can videotape programs from commercial TV and satellite stations at the request of faculty and staff. These programs can be used for classroom teaching up to 45 days from the date of the original broadcast.

MSC is the organization that purchases video and audio programming to support the educational curriculum at the Naval Academy. This collection of video and audio materials is housed in the Nimitz Library's AV collection and listed in the Library's OPAC. To request new programming please complete the attached "Request for Purchase" form and foward it to Larry Clemens or send it to yard mail stop 10F.
