The USNA English Dept. Writing Center
Writing Workshop Series
Spring 2005
This semester the Writing Center offers two different workshop series to help midshipmen develop their writing skills: Plebe Writing Workshops and Creative Writing Workshops. All workshops take place during Tuesday or Friday noon hours (1200-1315) with an excusal list and box lunch. Email (wcenter@usna.edu), call (x3-6239), or stop by the Writing Center (Sampson Hall G20) to be placed on the excusal list(s). Give us your name and alpha and the workshop date(s) when you sign up. Note: Midshipmen (or faculty) are welcome to attend without signing up in advance; however, without being on the excusal list, midshipmen must go to formation and lunch first.
PLEBE WRITING WORKSHOPS
This series offers practical help with
several specific facets of academic writing and targets 4/C midshipmen
who are working on a variety or writing assignments in their core courses.
Workshops will be held on the ground floor of Sampson (specific room TBD).
