Each 1/C midshipman can register online, using the MIDS system. After choosing the “Character Development Seminar – Register” link, select “Insert New Record.”  Then select the calendar next to the Excusal Code Block. A list of excusal dates will be displayed for all seminars currently active. Select the excusal number corresponding to your desired date. Now select “Insert,” and you are registered. NOTE: If a subsequent conflict develops with your selected date or if there are any other issues concerning your attendance, you may delete yourself from the particular session if it has not been submitted for approval, generally one week before the seminar date. You can then register for a different date. If the session has been submitted for approval, then you must contact LT Nick Rogers at nrogers@usna.edu or 3-1902 as soon as possible once the conflict is identified. You will be expected to find someone to take your slot, given that the session was full. When you contact LT Rogers, please provide the name of the individual who will take your slot.
