POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Mechanical Engineering Department at the United States Naval Academy invites applications for a post-doctoral research position with a specialty in experimental fluid mechanics. The successful applicant must have an earned doctorate in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, ocean engineering or a closely-related discipline. Expertise in laser Doppler velocimetry and/or particle image velocimetry is desired.

MINIMUM AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

U.S. citizenship or permanent residence status is preferred.
