The Naval History Symposium has a limited number of rooms reserved at the Doubletree Hotel Annapolis, at a rate of $159.00/night.  Reservations will be accepted at this discount until July 24, 2009.  After this date reservations will be accepted at the hotel’s prevailing rate, based upon availability. (Normally, $199.99/night).  Bus service for the symposium will run between the Doubletree to the Naval Academy. 

Reservations will be accepted beginning 09 September 2008.  If you wish stay at the Doubletree you must make reservations by calling 1-800-266-7631, or, 410-224-3150.  You must use the code 'NHS' when registering for the Naval History Symposium rate.   All reservations must be guaranteed by a Master Account or credit card.  Individual reservations must be canceled 24 hours prior arrival to avoid a one time charge on the room plus tax.
