Who We Are

The US Naval Academy Japanese Club (大和会) is a group of midshipmen dedicated to

establishing bridges of culture and friendship between the United States and Japan. We

believe that these ties will serve us professionally as well as keep our two cultures close so

that we may work toward lasting peace and understanding in our time. Anyone can join. No

Japanese ancestry is necessary - only a genuine interest in the culture, willingness to learn, and

openness to new ideas. Academy faculty and members of the military and civilian

communities of the Annapolis-Baltimore-Washington area are invited to join us in our

mission. Any midshipman interested in joining or any non-midshipman (military or civilian)

interested in helping the club should click here.
