The Jewish Midshipmen Club (JMC) is proud to present our newly redesigned look! However, the site is still under revision and many kinks are being both found and worked out.
With the disclaimer said and done, the JMC would like to
invite you, the viewer, to peruse our website and ask any
questions you may have. The Jewish Midshipmen Club is run
by Jewish Mids, with Rabbi Seth Phillips as our officer
representative and midshipmen of all faiths creating our
membership list. If you're at all interested in learning
more about Judaism, relaxing with some fun people, or just want
a calming atmosphere, come to the Uriah P. Levy Center located
at the United States Naval Academy.
Every Tuesday evening at 1900 the JMC can be found eating our way through ten or so freshly delivered pizzas or chowing down on some delicious Middle Eastern food. On Friday nights, we have Kabbalat Shabbat services that start at 1915 and last about an hour - that's when the Oneg starts! The JMC also participates in various events throughout the year, from Jewish Warrior Weekend to special banquets.
Thanks to our donors and the Friends of the Jewish Chapel, Jewish Mids are able to truly appreciate their faith and the friendships formed within the JMC.
