US NAVAL ACADEMY ELECTRICAL AND COMPUTER ENGINEERING
The USNA Electrical and Computer Engineering Department invites
applications for tenure-track faculty positions commencing in
August 2008. A doctoral degree in electrical or computer engineering is
required. The successful applicant must have a strong commitment to
undergraduate teaching and excellent communication skills. The appointment is
anticipated at the assistant professor level. The successful applicant
will also have clear promise of establishing and maintaining a peer-validated
record of scholarly research including journal publications and conference
presentations. Applications are accepted in all areas, but expertise in one of the following areas is
preferred: computer engineering, power systems engineering or bioengineering. Applicants must
be prepared to excel in teaching core electrical and computer engineering
courses as well as upper level undergraduate courses in their specialty.
