The Physics Department invites applications for multiple tenure-track assistant-professor positions. A successful applicant will have a Ph.D. in physics and a strong interest in teaching undergraduates and involving them in research. Departmental facilities include well-equipped acoustics, condensed matter, optics, and nuclear laboratories. The department has about 25 civilian faculty, teaches about 1000 students per year, and graduates 25-35 majors per year.
