Lecturer in Arabic
The Language Studies Department of the United
States Naval Academy invited application for a full-time, two/three year term
position in Arabic, PhD preferred. Native or near-native proficiency required,
and college level teaching experience in Arabic. The successful candidate must
be strongly committed to teaching at the undergraduate level and will be
expected to teach all levels of Arabic, particularly first and second year. The
proven ability to teach media Arabic, or an Arabic Dialect would be a plus. The
language Studies Department at the Naval Academy offer seven languages: Arabic,
Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Russian and Spanish. U. S. Naval Academy
civilian faculty members are federal government employees.

concise description of teaching methodology, teaching experience, research
