Russian Language Resources

Language Learning Resources to help you learn Russian

USNA faculty, staff and students have access to a variety of online language learning resources provided through Navy Knowledge Online (NKO) and LangNet.  While there is some overlap in the content provided by these sites, each also has unique content.  Note that you must obtain a username and password to access these resources.   If you need assistance, please contact Donna Goda (3-6938).

• Navy Knowledge Online (NKO) - https://www.nko.navy.mil - Find "CL-150 Transparent Language," "Tactical Language Kits," vocabulary lists you can download, and variety of cultural awareness materials

• LangNet - http://www.langnet.org

• Find books and audio-visuals at Nimitz Library

1. Go to the catalog (linked from the Nimitz Library home page)       2.  Choose LC SUBJECT HEADING
3.  Type Russian language self instruction or Russian language textbooks for foreign speakers
4.  Books or A/V items	Books will be found in General Collection arranged by call number.  CDs, DVDs and videos will be found adjacent to the Coffee Bar, also in call number order.
