Nimitz Library Web Site Mission

The Nimitz Library Web Site serves as a gateway to instructional, research and other information services that support the mission of the Nimitz Library, and subsequently the mission of the United States Naval Academy. The Nimitz Library's web site is a key access point to the Library's print and online resources, and functions as the principal guide to the Library's collections, services and staff. Pages within the Library's web site are themselves guides to, and integral parts of, our collections. The structure and content of the Nimitz Library Web Site is based on the needs of the Library's primary user groups: USNA midshipmen, faculty and staff.  The Nimitz Library seeks to ensure that its web site reflects the best pedagogical and web design practices for an undergraduate academic library.
