Midshipmen Only Recreational Reading Collection

Stack of books and papers The Nimitz Library has established a new collection of recreational reading books intended for use by USNA Midshipmen only (exchange cadets are also welcome to use these items). This small, targeted collection will include best sellers and popular literature. In order that these books remain available for midshipmen others are not authorized to borrow them from the Nimitz Library. Midshipmen are encouraged to suggest titles for the collection and may do so at any time via the suggestion form provided or by contacting Michael Macan, Reference-Bibliographer for English.

The loan period is 14 days and items may be renewed if no hold has been placed by another midshipman.

You can search the collection of Midshipmen Only Recreational Reading material by selecting "LC Subject Heading" in the Nimitz Library Catalog and entering a search for: Recreational Reading Collection - Midshipmen Only. Please consult a Librarian at the Reference Desk for any questions and assistance with the Nimitz Library's Recreational Reading Collection.

Although items in the Midshipmen Only Recreational Reading Collection are usually not the type of material purchased for academic purposes, when a Midshipmen Only item is needed by a non-midshipman patron the Nimitz Library will endeavor to acquire an additional copy for use by the requesting patron.
