Johns Hopkins

The Center for Social Concern works toward social change through direct service and community-building. We emphasize the value of service through an educational framework: the volunteer and client enter into an educational process in which both benefit from the interaction. We strive to create a better community on and around the Johns Hopkins campus, one which is based on three components: awareness, action, and reflection.

United States Naval Acacdemy

The Midshipman Action Group aims to provide community service projects to reliable, diligent, and enthusiastic volunteers willing to offer their time, talent, and energy. We utilize our efforts to better prepare midshipmen for future service by encouraging peer leadership, teamwork, character development, morale, selflessness, and good will towards others. Currently, we offer a variety of educational, environmental, and social service volunteer projects coordinated with community partners from the Annapolis , Baltimore , and D.C. areas.
