A person kills themselves every 18 minutes in the U.S. 7. It is estimated that a suicide attempt is made every single minute in the U.S. 8. Four times as many men kill themselves as women, but three to four times as many women attempt suicide as compared to men. 9. Firearms are the must often used method of suicide by nearly all groups. 10. Everyday about 80 Americans take their own life and nearly 1,500 try. |
