     Occupying the second and third floors of the Naval Academy Club - a national historic site dating back to 1904** - Navy Gateway Inns & Suites Annapolis is rich in tradition and Naval history and offers hospitality to a host of guests and distinguished visitors including Commanders in Chief as well as visiting military.  Navy Gateway Inns & Suites, Annapolis is the only military lodging facility in Annapolis located on the U.S. Naval Academy grounds.

     The Navy Gateway Inns & Suites Annapolis is under the command of Naval Support Activity Annapolis and delivers 5-Star hospitality under the worldwide Fleet and Family Readiness Program.  The Annapolis site offers 16 luxurious, custom decorated suites, and two elegant, custom decorated Distinguished Visitors Suites.

     Guests will also be able to enjoy a complimentary temporary membership at the Naval Academy Club valid during their stay at NGIS Annapolis.  Upon arrival, Guests will receive a temporary membership card which is also valid for a complimentary drink / cocktail at The Alley, the fine dining establishment located in the lower level of the Naval Academy Club.

Lodging Patron Eligibility

Temporary Duty personnel are required to use on-base lodging when directed by their command and are encouraged to use on-base whenever available. Within each priority, reservations and assignments are made on a first come, first serve basis without regard to rate or rank. 

 

Space Available Policy:  Reservations may be made up to 30 days in advance of the arrival date for up to a seven night stay space permitting and based on actual and projected occupancy.

 

Rates:

Regular Suite; - $95

DV Suite - $114
 

Priority 1 (Official Duty Traveler)

  • Armed Forces active duty members on TDY or on PCS and their family members (includes foster children, au pairs and foreign exchange students) or family members alone.

  • Armed Forces active duty members, who are single and non-primary custodial parents,
    during custodial or other visitation periods with minor dependent children authorized to make reservations up to ten days prior to stay (PDUSD(P&R)) memo signed March 3, 2008

  • Reserve Component members on a special tour of active duty or on active duty for training and during periods of scheduled inactive duty training at an installation

  • U.S. DoD civilians (both APF and NAF) on TDY

  • U.S. DoD civilians (both APF and NAF) on PCS and their family members or family members alone outside the Continental United States (OCONUS)

  • DoD sponsored-foreign nationals on TDY

  • DoD sponsored-foreign nationals on orders

  • Families, relatives, guests of hospitalized Armed Forces members or their family members

  • Honorably discharged veterans with 100% Service-connected disability and the involuntary separated members under the Transition Assistance Management Program. Personnel separated under the Voluntary Separation Incentive (VSI) and Special Separation Benefit (SSB) programs for two years after separation.

  • Medal of Honor Recipients

  • Guests of the Armed Forces as determined by the Installation Commander

Priority 2 (Non-Duty Traveler - Space Available)

  • Armed Forces and Reserve Component members in a non-duty status and their family
    members. *Exception where Status of Forces Agreement takes precedence.

  • U.S. DoD civilians on PCS and their family members in the Continental United States

  • U.S. DoD civilians in a non-duty status and their accompanying family members

  • Non-military uniformed personnel of the U.S. Public Health Service and National Oceanic
    and Atmospheric Administration, and foreign military personnel in a duty status, when
    authorized by the installation Commander

  • Armed Forces retirees who retired from active duty and their family members. Retired
    Reserve Component members with pay and retired without pay and their family members.

  • Un-remarried surviving spouses of personnel who died while on active duty or while in retired status and un-remarried former spouses who were married to military members for at least 20 years while the military member was on active duty to the Armed Forces

  • Relatives and guests of Armed Forces members assigned to the installation

 From Washington: 

Take Hwy 50 going East to exit 27.  Follow the signs toward the Naval Academy.  After crossing the Naval Academy Bridge, make a left at the 1st  traffic light into Gate 8.  After crossing the Hill Bridge, make the 2nd right (far end of Worden Field) onto Balch Road.  From Balch, take the 3rd left into the parking lot.  VQ entrance is on the parking lot side of the Naval Academy Club. NGIS entrance is across the NGIS parking lot.

From Baltimore and all points north:

(From BWI, begin at I-97)

Take I-895 to I-97 South.  I-97 south merges with Hwy 50 upon entering Annapolis.  Take exit 27 and follow the signs toward the Naval Academy.  After crossing the Naval Academy Bridge, make a left at the 1st  traffic light into Gate 8. After crossing the Hill Bridge, make the 2nd right (far end of Worden Field) onto Balch Road. From Balch, take the 3rd left into the parking lot.  VQ entrance is on the parking lot side of the Naval Academy Club. NGIS entrance is across the NGIS parking lot.

From all points south:

From the I-495 Beltway, take Exit 19 (Hwy 50 East).  From Hwy 50 take exit 27.  Follow the signs toward the Naval Academy.  After crossing the Naval Academy Bridge, make a left at the 1st  traffic light into Gate 8.  After crossing the Hill Bridge, make the 2nd right (far end of Worden Field) onto Balch Road,  From Balch, take the 3rd left into the parking lot.  VQ entrance is on the parking lot side of the Naval Academy Club. From the Eastern Shore:
