The Navy Corporate Sponsor & Partnership Program, a Department of Defense program, allows MWR Funds world-wide to receive assistance, funding, goods, equipment or services from a company, corporation or other entity (sponsor) for programs or events for a specific period in return for public recognition, advertising or product promotion. DoD authorizes local MWR departments to competitively solicit and accept both unsolicited and solicited corporate sponsorships for MWR programs and events. Solicitation for corporate sponsorship and the acceptance of any sponsorship offer is authorized to be conducted only by the authorized MWR representative (coordinator) of the local military MWR department and only for MWR events.
