4)   In the right hand panel will be more information for the particular list you have selected.  This is also where the archives for this list are located if you need to reference any prior emails sent to the list.  To subscribe to the list, select  “
Join or leave the list (or change settings).”
5)   Put your email address, name, and then click the button for “Join MWR-ANNOUNCEMENTS".  You can
remove yourself from the list.

6)      An email confirmation will come to you to make sure that you authorized the registration. Reply to the email confirmation by either typing "ok" (without the quotes) as the text of your message or click on the link inside the message to go to the web page for confirmation.

Parents Night Out
               
The Billy the Kid Youth Center will host a Parents’ Night Out on Friday, June 27 from 5:30 to 10 p.m.  Children from 6 to 12 are welcome to attend.  Active duty military children are free.  Children of DoD civilians and USNA contractors are $10/person.  There will be fun, games, food and prizes!  Sign up in advance.  Call 410-293-9396 or stop by the Youth Center at 126 Alder Road, NSA Annapolis.

 

Discounted Tickets for 2nd Annual AT&T National Golf Tournament
                MWR ITT has discounted tickets for Saturday and Sunday (July 5-6) for the 2nd Annual AT&T National Golf Tournament hosted by the Tiger Woods Foundation at the Congressional County Club, Bethesda, MD. Cost is $25.75 per ticket (gate price-$30).  To purchase, stop by the MWR Annapolis ITT Outlet or charge by phone at 410-293-9200, Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.     Tickets must be picked up at the ITT Outlet; ITT will not mail tickets. MWR Pools Are Open; Passes on Sale; Register on June 28 for Lessons

                 MWR Annapolis swimming pools are open through September 1 for the 2008 season. North Severn Pool is located on Eucalyptus Road adjacent to the North Severn Picnic Pavilions at NSA Annapolis.  South Severn Pool is located across from US Naval Academy Gate 8.   To keep the cost of swimming affordable, MWR offers membership passes are on sale at the MWR Recreational Services Bldg. #89,.  You can purchase a pass for the season or half-season or pay daily fees.   Passes are based on rank / grade and type of pass (individual, individual with one dependent or family) and are available at either full-season (May 24 through September 1) or half-season rates (May 24 to July 17 or July 17 to September 1). 

    MWR also offers American Red Cross-certified lessons at the South Severn Pool.  Session II will be July 8 to 18 with registration on June 28 at 8 a.m. in the lobby of the MWR Recreational Services Bldg. #89, NSA Annapolis.  Lessons are scheduled between 9 a.m. and noon, Tuesday through Friday.   Cost for 30-minute swim lessons (Levels 1-3) are $40/active duty; $45/all others.  Cost for 45-minute lessons (Levels 4-6) will be $50/active duty and $55/all others.

Summer Day Camp Registration

             There are spaces available for children of Active Duty, DoD Civilian employees and USNA Contractors for the 2008 Summer Day Camp at the Billy the Kid Youth Center.  Summer Day Camp runs to August 22, and is for children in kindergarten through 12 years of age.  Camp activities include arts and crafts, sports, swimming, cultural activities and more.  Field trips are scheduled once a week.  Fees are based on income and eligibility and average from $50 to $126 per week depending on total family income.  Please remember to bring your Leave and Earnings Statement with you when registering. Youth Soccer Season Registration
       
Parents can register their children, ages 5-10, in the Youth Soccer Program at the Billy the Kid Youth Center at NSA Annapolis from June 16 to July 26. Cost is $50 per child and includes a jersey, end of season awards celebration jamboree and trophy. Practices start the week of August 18 and season play starts September 6. Games are played on Saturdays at 9 a.m. at the NSA Annapolis field near the North Severn Pool. Teams will be divided by age groups: 5-6; 7-8; and 9-10. Volunteer coaches are needed for each age group. To register your child, stop by the Youth Center, #126 Alder Road, NSA Annapolis, Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. between June 16 and July 26.  For more information or to volunteer as a coach, call Tony Burch, Youth Sports Coordinator, at 410-293-4998.

 

Parent-Child Swim Class - FREE

                MWR Aquatics will offer a FREE Parent-Child Swim Class on Tuesday, July 1 from 11 to 11:45 a.m. at the South Severn Pool (across from USNA Gate 8).  This class is intended to provide parents with the skills needed to take their children in the water and enjoy fun, safe activities that will help the child become more comfortable in the water.  The class is targeted to children 6 months to 4 years old.  There is no advance registration.  Walk-ins are welcome!  For more information, call James Senn, MWR Aquatics Director, at 410-293-9211.

 

Independence Day 5K

                MWR Fitness will host a 5K Run on July 13 at 7:30 a.m. at the Bay Room on Greenbury Point, NSA Annapolis.  This run is open to all DoD personnel including active duty, retired military, reservists, DoD civilian employees, family members and USNA Contractors.  Active duty military members are free; all others are $5.  There will be T-shirts for all participants and prizes for age / gender groups.  Register and pay in advance at the MWR Recreational Services Bldg. #89 until July 11 or at the Bay Room on the day of the race.  For more information, call 410-293-9211 or 9200.

 

5th Annual Navy 5-Miler - Open to the Public!

Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) is providing an opportunity for Sailors, family members and military retirees to help shape the future of its Fleet & Family Readiness (F&FR) programs by participating in the 2008 F&FR Customer Satisfaction Survey, July 7 through Aug. 7.
    The survey will permit customers of Fleet & Family Readiness programs to voice their opinions on a variety of topics. F&FR programs being surveyed include Child and Youth Programs, Fleet and Family Support Programs, Morale, Welfare and Recreation (Liberty, Fitness, ITT, Movie Theaters, Library / Resource Centers) and Navy Gateway Inns and Suites. The results will provide Navy leadership with information that will be used to enhance current programs and improve Navy quality of life.
    The survey will be available online beginning July 7 at www.cfigroup.net/ffr Customers can complete the survey while visiting an F&FR program location or anywhere with an Internet connection.  Thank you for participating in the survey!

DORNEY PARK & Wildwater Kingdom Tickets at MWR Annapolis ITT

ITT Sells Discounted Vouchers to DC's Newest Interactive Museum - National Museum of Crime & Punishment
       
MWR Annapolis Information, Tickets and Travel Outlet will sell discount vouchers through the Military Travel Voucher program for the National Museum of Crime & Punishment.  Visitors will discover the history of crime and punishment in America’s newest interactive museum in 28,000 square feet of historical artifacts combined with dynamic interaction, located at 575 7th Street NW, Washington DC.  The museum educates the public on the importance of the law enforcement community. It explores crime-fighting and crime-solving techniques as well as the consequences of committing a crime.

    Cost is $14/person for ages 5 and up (4 and under are FREE). “Here’s to the Heroes” Promotion Extended through 2008

        Here’s to the Heroes promotion is extended to run 1/1/2008 to 12/31/2008 and provides a complimentary single-day admission per person, per year to an Anheuser-Busch Adventure Park for active duty military from any of the five service branches, active members of a reserve or National Guard unit and/or up to three direct dependants.  Also eligible for the offer are members of foreign military forces serving in the coalitions in Iraq or Afghanistan or attached to American units in the U.S. for training. The offer is non-transferable and non-refundable.  

        Three Anheuser-Busch parks – SeaWorld Orlando, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and SeaWorld San Diego – operate year round. The company’s remaining parks are seasonal, with varying opening dates this spring. Each park’s operating schedule is available online.

        Inactive, standby and retired reserve members, military retirees, U.S. Merchant Marine and civilian Department of Defense workers are ineligible for the program. The program does not include Discovery Cove or SeaWorld’s new waterpark, Aquatica.
        Orlando-based Busch Entertainment Corporation (BEC) is the family entertainment division of Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc. MWR Fitness Specialist Does Computerized Fitness Assessments

and Equipment Orientations

(Assessments and Personal Training are FREE for Active Duty)

        Brian Williams is on staff to help you achieve your optimum level of personal fitness by performing a variety of services that range from personal assessments, to developing a personal workout plan, to being your personal trainer or a combination of the three - all designed to help you see results!  Brian conducts computerized fitness assessments utlizing the “MicroFit” system.   An evaluation is a great motivational tool that provides a baseline of knowledge in developing exercise objectives to help you achieve your desired fitness goal.   Each customer receives a computerized printout with individual results.  The fitness evaluation includes height, weight, resting heart rate, blood pressure, body composition analysis using skin fold calipers, cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and flexibility.   Customers should wear loose-fitting clothes such as a T-shirt and shorts during their evaluation.  Computerized fitness assessments cost $20; free for active duty. 

     Once a baseline level is established, he creates a personal plan of action for the customer to achieve a desired fitness goal.  At that point, customers can workout on their own or with Brian as personal trainer.  He is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Personal Trainer and as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.  He is also Red Cross-certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) and First Aid.   Brian also conducts personal fitness orientations to show customers how to properly use fitness and weight equipment at the MWR Fitness Center in the Recreational Services Bldg. #89, NSA Annapolis.  

      Equipment orientations are free; personal fitness assessments are $20, and personal trainer sessions are $20/person per hour for an individual or $15/person per hour for a group of two.  Personal assessments and training are FREE to active duty.    Customers can avail Brian’s services by appointment.   For more information or for an appointment, call 410-293-9226

Sea World and Busch Gardens Florida Offer Free 2nd Day Ticket

     Customers who purchase a Sea World Orlando or Busch Gardens (Tampa) ticket through the MWR ITT program are eligible to receive a second day ticket free.  Customers must go to the front gate of the park and exchange their ticket for a new one to be used within 13 consecutive days of their first visit.  Parking is not included and tickets are not transferable.  Active duty customers visiting the parks on the free Here’s to the Heroes program may pay $10.65 at the front gate to receive their free second visit ticket.  The new prices for Sea World tickets at MWR ITT is $55.75.  For more information, call 410-293-9207.

Policy on Fitness Center Fees & Services

                FREE use of the Fitness Center for DoD Civilians (active and retired with proof of retirement) and their family members throughout Naval District Washington fitness facilities went into effect on November 1, 2006.  (Family members are defined as spouse and children; adult age children with valid student ID).  DoD civilians may bring their family members to the MWR Recreational Services Bldg. #89, NSA Annapolis to obtain a fitness center access card. 

      Active duty, reservists, retired military and their families, continue to have free access to the Fitness Center.  Full-time USNA Contractors may pay a membership fee of $300 per year, $44 per month or $11 per day.   Guests of active duty,  retired military, reservists, or DoD civilians are $5/day or $11 for Contractors.  For more information, call 410-293-9200 or 9211.

                The MWR Annapolis Fitness Center is located in the Recreational Services Bldg. #89, NSA Annapolis and includes a gym, weight and cardiovascular rooms and racquetball courts, recreational equipment in the lobby and an intramural sports program.  Fitness equipment includes treadmills, cross-trainers, recumbent bikes, upright bikes, stair-masters, Hammer Strength equipment and an FM wireless fitness cinema.  The fitness center has men’s and women’s showers with day lockers, a co-ed sauna, free towel checkout, racquetball gear, weight belts, basketballs and other equipment checkout.  

                No youths under the age of 10 are permitted in any area of the Fitness center.  Youth ages 10 through 14 are authorized access to the Fitness Center under the following guidelines: Youth in the approved age range must be accompanied at all times in all areas of the fitness center by a parent or a legal guardian. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday, Sunday and federal holidays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  For more information, call 410-293-9200.

    • Intramural Sports   Softball is played on Tues-Thurs on the North Severn Softball Fields; 6 p.m.  Intramural sports are free for all military and family members; DoD civilians or DoD family members pay $30 each per sport; USNA Contractors pay $44 per sport; payment of intramural fees allows individuals to use the Fitness Center for one month.

    • Group Exercise Classes - are offered by MWR Annapolis Fitness.  Ongoing classes will be held in the Martial Arts room on the second deck of Lejeune Hall, U.S. Naval Academy on Tuesday and Thursday 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.    Costs: Active Duty Military are free; all others are $4.00 per class; $24 for an 8-class punch card; $50 for a 50-class punch card and $110 for a 6-month unlimited class punch card.  Sign up and purchase punch cards at the MWR Recreational Services Bldg. #89, NSA Annapolis.     • Computerized Fitness Assessments & Personal Training - MWR Fitness offers computerized fitness assessments using the “MicroFit” system and personal training sessions.  The assessment provides information to help you establish an exercise routine to achieve your desired fitness goal.  The fitness evaluation includes height, weight, resting heart rate, blood pressure, body composition analysis using skin fold calipers, cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and flexibility.    Personal training is $20/person per hour for an individual; $15/person/hour for a group of two.  Computerized fitness assessments cost $20; computerized assessments are FREE for active duty personnel.  For an appointment, contact Brian Williams, MWR Fitness Specialist, at 410-293-9226.

    • Nutritional Guidance – The MWR Athletic Director, is certified with the Cooper Institute for “Nutritional Guidance.”  If you have nutritional questions or would like guidance, call 410-293-9212.

    Fit For Life Program - Work Out and Win Prizes!

        MWR Athletics is initiating the Fit for Life (Fitness Incentive Awards) Program at Naval Station Annapolis.  The individualized program is designed to encourage people to achieve a healthier lifestyle by exercising on a regular basis.  Overall, the program contributes to mission readiness of military members.   People can start the ongoing program at anytime and win prizes for their efforts.
        Participants are given a specific amount of time to accumulate points for participating in the following activities in any form:  aerobic activity through classes or use of equipment, swimming, racquetball, rowing/kayaking, running/jogging, basketball, weight training, brisk walking, and rollerblading.   Points range from 6 points per mile for swimming to 2 points per mile for rollerblading.   MWR Athletics has a list of designated points for each activity.
        Incentive awards will be given at three levels of fitness achievement:  Blue, Gold and Elite.    Participants must achieve each level within the allotted time or begin over at that level.  Blue level achievement must accrue 200 points in 16 weeks to win a “Fit for Life” sports bottle; Gold level must accrue 600 points in 24 weeks to win a “Fit for Life” T-shirt and Elite level must accrue 1000 points in 32 weeks to win a “Fit for Life” gym bag.
        Participants will track their own points weekly using the honor system on a form to be turned in to MWR.  MWR will update participants' points weekly in a data base.  Participants will be notified when an award level is reached and when the allotted time is elapsed.
        The program is open to all active duty military, retirees, reservists on active duty and family members 18 and over and DoD civilian employees who are members of the MWR Annapolis Fitness Center.  For more information about the “Fit for Life” incentive program or Fitness Center memberships, contact the MWR Athletic Director at 410-293-9212.
     

    Liberty Zone

        The Liberty Zone, the recreation center for single and unaccompanied E1-E6 active duty personnel, is located in the MWR Recreational Services Bldg. #89, Naval Station Annapolis.  The center features a surround sound theater, computers, WIFI connectivity,video games, TV / lounging area, self-serve snack area and kitchen facilities, pools tables, foosball table, and a darts area.  The “Zone” is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Fridays from 9 a.m. to midnight;  Saturdays from 8 a.m. to midnight;  Sundays and federal holidays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sundays before a federal holiday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.   Sign up and pay for trips / activities / shuttle service in advance.

    Child Development Center

           The Child Development Center of the U.S. Naval Academy Complex, provides quality childcare, preschool and pre-K programs for active duty and DoD families, Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.  Spaces are available in the pre-toddler (ages 13-25 months), toddler (ages 26-35 months) and preschool rooms (ages 3 to 5).  Eligibility is open to active duty military, DoD civilian employees, reservists on active duty and DoD contractors assigned to or residing at the U.S. Naval Academy Complex.  Priority access will be established if there is a waiting list. Fees for childcare at the center are based on total family income.  Current shot records are required at the time of registration.  Bring Leave and Earning statements and / or pay stubs to register.

    Volunteer Readers / Speakers Interact with CDC Children

            The Child Development Program at Naval Support Activity Annapolis has a Guest Reader / Guest Speaker Program at the center, and is looking for volunteers to participate with the preschool age children.  Volunteers read a simple story from books provided by the CDC staff or one of their own favorite children’s book.   Reading sessions are held twice a month in the morning, usually during the first and third weeks of the month.   A reading session lasts about 10 to 15 minutes and is arranged to meet the volunteer’s and children’s schedules.  The center is also looking for guest speakers who would be willing to visit the center and “show and tell” the children what they do everyday.    Volunteers can range from homemakers to helicopter pilots.   A guest speaker is scheduled in the morning during the last week of the month.  Guest speaker sessions usually last 10 to 15 minutes.  To be a part of this exciting curriculum as a volunteer reader or speaker, please call the Training and Curriculum Specialist at 410-293-9391.

    CDH Rates Subsidized

             Starting October 1, 2007, parents will have the option to enroll their children in a Child Development Home at a rate comparable to Navy Child Development Centers.  Subsidy rates are determined by a DoD standardized formula based upon BAS / BAH and total family income to determine weekly fees.  For an application, call Meredith McCandless, CDH Monitor at 410-293-9395.

    Child Development Home Program

        CDH program offers self-employment as a child development provider to dependents of active and retired military, reservists and Department of Defense civilian employees living on and off base.   Providers attend 20 hours of orientation classes including CPR and First Aid.   National background checks are performed on all CDH providers.  Their homes are inspected by the Naval Academy fire department, safety office and preventive medicine department. CDH program offers providers the opportunity to work in their home and watch their own children grow and develop while at the same time caring for children and earning an additional income.  CDH homes provide a warm, family setting in which children can participate developmentally appropriate learning activities and home-life experiences. The children are able to build a trusting relationship with a provider who will foster their curiosity and creativity, provide guidance and give them the hugs they need.
            CDH homes have space available for new children, ages 6 weeks to 12 years old.  Some providers also offer evening and weekend drop-in care.  If you need child care or would like to become a provider, call 410-293-9395. 

     

    Navy CYP Operational Procedures for Child Care for Ombudsman / IA Sailors and Severely Injured Service Members

                    Child Care (ages 0-12) for Ombudsman Performing Official Duties.  All Ombudsman shall be directed to complete the on-line Request for Care (RFC) form at www.mwr.navy.mil.    Ombudsman completing the on-line RFC form must check the block that they are Ombudsman when prompted.  The  request for care form will then be forwarded to the HQ RFC inbox. Leslie Bowman from our HQ staff will then work with each case directly.  This is only for child care for children of Ombudsman and only for child care while they are performing their official duties.

                    Child Care (ages 0-12) for IA Sailors and Severely Injured Service Members (OEF/OIF only).  Effective immediately, children of sponsors with this status shall be given number 1 priority within our Central Waiting List process.  Two methods are to be used to verify if members are in either one of these categories: 1) IA Sailors shall provide a copy of orders that state that they are IA members; 2) Severely Injured Service (OEF/OIF only) shall provide documentation that they are enrolled in the Safe Harbor program (if member is from another Service, please confirm eligibility with CNIC HQ point of contact listed below).  Please ensure that all local advertising, publications, etc. reflect the above information.  The CNIC HQ point of contact is Ms. Leslie  Bowman at 901-874-6699/DSN 882-6699 or leslie.c.bowman@navy.mil.

    Boys & Girls Clubs of America Offer Character Building Program at NSA Annapolis

          The Billy the Kid Youth Center is a Member Affiliate Organization of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and offers teens the opportunity to be members of Torch Clubs.  Sponsored by Staples Foundation for Learning, Inc. and Staples, Inc., Torch Clubs help young people make a successful transition into late adolescence by fostering positive self-esteem and personal growth, building listening and speaking skills and reinforcing academic achievement.   Torch Clubs also play a vital role in day-to-day running of a club, using critical peer-to-peer interaction to build positive character traits and interpersonal skills among pre-teens.  Torch Club members become role models and ambassadors for promoting character, tolerance, diversity and inclusion, and each year, hundreds of Torch Club youth conduct service projects in their Clubs and communities proving they are on their way to becoming responsible, caring citizens and leaders.  We want to provide our Navy youth with the same opportunities.  If you would be interested in learning more about our program for your child, please contact Teen Coordinator at 410-293-4998 .

    Massage Therapy

         

            Massage therapy is available by prior appointment.   MWR has a terrific massage therapist (Sharon) who specializes in soft tissue release, Swedish relaxation, deep tissue, prenatal, and myofacial release.  The MWR Massage Studio is located in Metzger Hall, Bldg. #168 at Naval Support Activity Annapolis.   Customers must pay for their appointments at the MWR Recreational Services Bldg. #89, NSA Annapolis.  Cost is $40 for a ˝ hour session; $60 for one hour (prices in effect October 1, 2007).  Gift certificates are available.   For an appointment, call Sharon at 410-279-2070.

    Auto Skills Shop

        The self-help Auto Skills Shop has eight automotive bays (four with hydraulic lift) and a variety tools and equipment, including a Diagnostic Scanner, a tire mounter, timing light, electric drill, wash tank, grease tank, brake lathe, hoists, engine stands, Snap-on tools, tire balancer and puller set.   Bay time is $3/hour; $5/hour with a lift.  Check on your vehicle with the shop’s new “All Data” computer car manual program for information on recalls, service bulletins and make / model updates.  The shop is open Fridays from 12:30 to 9 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.  The shop is closed Monday through Thursday and federal holidays.         (MWR operates the FAMCAMP on Naval Station Annapolis.  Facilities include a concrete pad, water and electric at each of the 14 RV sites, a central dump station and bathhouse with hot showers year-round.     Carr Creek Marina

             Carr Creek Marina is located on the east end of Naval Station Annapolis and is open to all Department of Defense customers, including retirees, active reservists, family members, DoD Civilian employees (GS and NAF) and USNA Contractors.

           Summer office hours are: 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Summer operational hours at Carr Creek Marina are Wednesday and Thursday from 7:30 to 4 and Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 to 8 p.m. Boat rentals must be returned one hour prior to closing.

           Haul-out, wash and launch are available for privately-owned boats Monday through Friday, by appointment.  Moorings are available, and there are dry storage facilities for boats, RV’s and pop-up campers (no automobiles) – priority is given to those residing in base housing at USNA/NAVSTA.  Marina assistance with minor boat maintenance and on-water towing are also available.  Rates vary depending on the type of maintenance. 
    For boat rental, storage and marine service fees, click here. Boat rentals must be returned one hour prior to closing. The Marina rents sail and powerboats. Power boats include 15 and 17 Whalers. Sailboats include 22’ Capris, 24’ Rainbows and a 25’ Catalina.

             Basic keeboat sailing lessons are only given in the summer (May 23 to early Sept 19).   Instruction begins on Friday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. followed by Saturday and Sunday on the water from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.  This course is available to authorized MWR customers, ages 16 or older.  The course fee is $182 per person and includes course materials.  Reservations are necessary.  Confirmation of scheduled class is upon receipt of payment.  No refund for cancellation within 5 days course commencement unless unusual circumstances apply.  Course instructors are USNA Sailing Association-qualified.

    MWR Retelle and Bay Room Rentals

               MWR rents party rooms and picnic pavilions.  Retelle Room is located on Naval Support Activity Annapolis and accommodates approximately 100 people.  There are kitchen facilities, pool and ping pong tables and restrooms.  It also has a brick BBQ with grill, a covered patio and is adjacent to a softball field.    MWR also rents the Bay Room located at Greenbury Point.  The Bay Room accommodates 80 people.  It offers similar features as the Retelle Room plus a view of the Chesapeake Bay.  It is available year-round with heat and / or air conditioning.   Balloon Bouquets with 12" balloons may be ordered 48 hours in advance for your events at a cost of $9 per dozen for latex (limit of 3 dozen per rental); $2.25 each for mylar   Balloons may be picked up on the day of the event at the MWR Recreational Services Bldg. #89.  Rental fee for the Retelle Room or Bay Room is $65 plus a $150 refundable deposit.  Reservations may be made no more than three months in advance. 

           MWR also offers the use of outdoor pavilions at Naval Support Activity Annapolis.    North Severn Pavilions A & B are located across the street from North Severn Pool.   Retelle Pavilion is located on the Severn River at Retelle Beach, past the RV campground and Mill Creek Pavilion is located near the CDR John L. Dunning, Jr. Memorial Pier at Mill Creek.  North Pool Pavilions A & B accommodate 96 people and have charcoal grills.   Retelle Beach and Mill Creek Pavilion accommodate 48 people.   Rental cost for each pavilion is $55 in addition to the $150 refundable deposit required at the time of reservation.  For more information, call MWR at 410-293-9200.    For more information, call MWR at 410-293-9200.
