Sea trials successful. The Navy's newest attack submarine, Seawolf (SSN 21), completed its initial sea trial, July 5, and returned to Electric Boat Division in Groton, Conn. The test program included first underwater submergence, acoustics trials, engineering inspections and at-sea training for the crew.
