   Overview:

The relationship between mathematics and the sciences is a two way street. Math is applied to sciences and sciences to math. This course will look at the history of

            mathematics by studying the advancements achieved by the great math/scientists     

            such as Archimedes, Kepler, Galileo, and Newton. The associated mathematical     

            methods will be discussed.
