A course dedicated
to the study of various types of corrosion
including the electrochemical and metallurgical
mechanisms responsible for each and their
prevention. The course concentrates principally
on the structural alloys used in the marine
environment. Laboratory sessions involve
demonstrations and hands-on experiments which
complement the lecture material.
