Agility The player's ability to traverse the court smartly and quickly both on defense, approach and retreat at the net, and in persuit of any playable ball Good Blocking Form
Aggression The tenacity of a player to keep the ball up on defense, put the ball down on offense, and not let anything hit the floor.
Form Basic volleyball fundamentals and skills are solid or have potential. Passing, setting, approach, arm swing, blocking, footwork and positioning will all be evaluated.
Natural Ability An athlete can be formed into a volleyball player. One's natural athleticism and skills will be taken into consideration.
Teachability The player's aptitude for gaining volleyball skills and knowledge through instruction are crucial.
Vertical Leap The ability to jump is what seperates teams come nationals. The advantages of touching the ball higher than your opponent is undeniable, therefore a good vertical is desirable.
Other Any other areas which team members feel helps or hurts your chances of being a contributing member of the team.
