The USNA Chapter of the Society of Mechanical Engineers is a membership organization that enables the collaboration; knowledge sharing, career enrichment, and skills development across all engineering disciples, toward a goal of helping the global engineering community develop solutions to benefit lives.  The ECA provides an access route for Midshipmen Mechanical Engineers to join a professional society that will enable them to participate in leadership conferences, new capstone projects, nationwide competitions, and expand their knowledge of mechanical engineering.
