Adam's footprint

Atop the highest mountain in Sri Lanka is housed a giant footprint which is said to be the footprint of Adam after he was cast out of the garden of Eden before he traveled to Mecca to establish the sanctuary there. Other large footprints are associated with the prophet Muhammad and other prophets such as Moses and Jesus throughout the Middle East. Some of the footprints have been moved from their original location, and were reused in the foundations of buildings, buried with certain people, and kept by leaders. Several footprints of the prophet Muhammad are now housed in the Topkapi Museum in Istanbul, one is located on the rock under the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem, and a pair is preserved in the tomb of Sayyid Badawi in Tanta in the Nile Delta region of Egypt.
