The Middle East Forum serves to enhance the educational opportunities of midshipmen on all aspects of the Middle East and Islamic Studies.

Dr. Asher Susser

Dr. Asher Susser from Tel Aviv University will discuss the Arab Spring and its effects on the U.S., Israel and the Middle East.

Dr. Amy Singer

Dr. Amy Singer from Tel Aviv University will discuss the Ottoman conquest of Jerusalem.

Joumana Haddad

The Center will host Lebanese poet, translator, journalist, and womens rights advocate as she discusses her literary work.

Dr. Amir Hussain

Dr. Amir Hussain from Loyola Marymount University's Department of Theological Studies will discuss his research on Islam.
