Shifley Lecture Series

This lecture series is funded by the Class of 1950 Museum Endowment in recognition of the significant contribution made to the Endowment by the Shifley Trust.

VADM Ralph Shifley was a highly decorated naval aviator. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Class of 1933, he was designated a naval aviator in 1937. He participated in WWII operations against the Japanese at New Guinea, Saipan, Guam, the Palaus, and the Philippines. He was awarded the Navy Cross and Distinguished Flying Cross.

All lectures are held at 1230 in the 2nd floor theater of Preble Hall (the Museum)
