Coach Kleinpeter brings eight years of athletics experience to the job, including several stops as an assistant football coach at the NCAA Division I-A and I-AA levels. Most recently he was the assistant football and head strength coach at Pasadena City College in California. In his two years there he coached five Junior College All-Americans and helped twenty-six players sign division I scholarships. His other coaching stops include stints at Stephen F. Austin State University (TX), University of Louisiana - Lafayette, Citrus College (CA), and the University of Louisiana - Monroe. Coach Kleinpeter hails from the state of Louisiana and is a 1992 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. Kleinpeter grew up on the football field as his father Joe spent 37 years as an athletic director and coach in his home state of Louisiana.
