Our mission is to:
increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community.
The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is the largest student-run organization in the country with more than 15,000 members.
NSBE is comprised of more than 300 chapters on college and university campuses, 75 Alumni Extension chapters nationwide and 75 Pre-College chapters. These chapters are geographically divided into six regions.
We are dedicated to introducing youth to the importance of STEM education and developing them with the tools and confidence they will need to succeed as future engineers.
We establish the bonds of mentorship and leadership within the Brigade of Midshipmen while disseminating our experiences and expertise to the surrounding community.
We are a group of Midshipmen dedicated to empowering the African-American and Engineering cultures simultaneously.
We are men and women from all walks of life who have come together with one goal in mind - to make a greater impact on the future of the Naval Academy and African-American education.
