The Administrative Office
is responsible for myriad of administrative and personnel services for the
command. They must ensure that the workforce of officers, enlisted and civilians
meet the quantity, skills/qualifications and grades to meet the command
needs.
Manned by two yeomen and two civilians, the office has been successful
in delivering timely and efficient service for the workforce. The Administrative
Office accomplishes all the command's correspondence, travel, official
files, directives program, reports control/forms management, and publishing
of the Plan of the Week. In addition, they are responsible for the command's
postal and classified security programs.
Personnel services rendered
include enlisted performance evaluations, leave/special request chits,
military sponsor program, check-in/out of military members, both military
and civilian awards programs, and military retirements.
By maintaining the civilian appropriated labor budget and servicing
all civilian personnel areas by being a central point of contact with
Human Resources Department, USNA, the Administrative Office is able to
provide efficient services for the command's civilian staff.
The administrative office is located on the first deck
of Building 58, on the Naval Station.
