Navigator Representative
Mike and Marsha Slone both came to Christ in their college years, Mike at the Citadel and Marsha at
Oregon State. They ministered as insiders during Mike's active duty time in the Air Force. In 1985 they responded to God's call
to minister with the Navigators as missionaries to the military and have ministered at US military bases in California, England,
and now the United States Naval Academy. Mike and Marsha have been married since 1978 and have one daughter Elisabeth. |

LCDR, USN
Navigators Officer Representative
English Dept.
Lieutenant Commander Chip Crane graduated from the Naval Academy in 1990, where he was active with the Navigators group.
After serving on USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) from 1992-1995, he returned for duty to USNA. As a supply officer, he first came as the Navy Exchange Officer
at the Naval Station. In 1997 he became the Midstore, Uniform, and Textbook officer. In 1999 he became an English instructor where,
through numerous miraculous answers to prayer, he has pretty much remained ever since. He continues to pray that he can remain on faculty at
USNA until he retires in 2010 and that he can continue teaching in a civilian position after that.
Chip and his wife, Son-Min, serve as Navigator Associate Staff.
