John Bogdan....#21....forward....5-10....190....General Engineering major...Hometown: Baltimore, MD....Parents: John and Christine....is an only child....this will be his third year as a forward with the `A' team....“Bogs” picked up his lone goal last season in an 8-2 win at Rutgers...he also recorded four assists as his playing time increased later in the year...as a sophomore he was named team's “Most Improved Player” along with goalie Matthew Collinsworth....known for his gritty style of play....he graduated from Perry Hall High School in Baltimore, where he played goalie and forward....he also played for the Baltimore Stars....served three years in the Navy before he was admitted to NAPS....Why did you decided to go to USNA: “It is a great opportunity to serve my country at a high level, get a quality education, and play hockey”....Person you most admire: “My father, for his high moral standards and hard work ethic”....Favorite hockey team: Baltimore Skipjacks (AHL)...Favorite player: Jeff Halpern...Favorite food: cheeseburger...Favorite book: A Sense Of Honor by James Webb...Favorite movie: The Road Warrior...Favorite TV show: The Simpsons...Plans after graduation: Naval Aviation.
